Hi everyone, I'm at week 4 veg (super skunk started from seed), 4x4x7 growbox 3.6 liters pots, in 3 or 4 days I transplant in the final 6 liters pots, I'd like to know the best way to proceed after that.
top and than scrog?
just scrog?
something else?
I'm open to suggestions :)

thanks a lot and happy growing

I think I would go up to 11 litre pots minimum then LST the lot, veg till they bush out and slap them into flower. 9 plants is too few for SOG and a few too many for Scrog, although not impossible by any means. With the LST your not slowing growth down as much as you would with topping. I suppose its dependant on how your lighting your space too.
Just my opinion, the world is your oyster.

First grow in this space? You say 4x4x7 yet give pot size in liters. Are your room dimensions in feet? Assuming that... your 9 Plants are probably going to pack that even if you grow straight up...But maybe not if you go with those small pots.

I am in a similar grow area (4x5x8). It fills with 6 plants in 5 gallon pots. I generally top th main and LST the whole plant bending it horizontal to the ground. Attaching to the side of the pot. After the flower stretch undo the tie down and let'em fly

yes, I gave you my grow room size in feet and pot in liters, sorry for messing things up but I'm having trouble with gallons :)
I'm using a 400w grow light, and I have a 600w flowering one ready and waiting.
ok so first mistake was thinking the 6 liters pots were the final ones, corey suggested 11 minumum and dave 5 gallon that roughlly translate in 19 ...
I can get the pots tomorrow, no problem, 14 liters, only question is ... how many? you both suggested 9 plants are too many, you think I should trash 3 of em and LST with 6?

Personally I think you should be fine keeping them all, just don't veg them too much longer, LST, let the lower branches grow out and flip, you could tie and flip.
It wont hurt to go bigger on the pot size. 5gallon is standard these days, I use 15ltr and don't have any issue. I tend to use 6 plants in a 4x4. I have used 16 in 1m2 before looked the size of yours in those 6.5ltr pots, flipped as they are now. Didn't have a problem. But I don't like having 3 lots of 16 plants. Its personal preference Angel Eyes.
With 9 I would transplant up and tie down straight away, veg a week or 2 and flip. But I'm sure dave would do different, neither of us are wrong. If you had 1000w I could say veg them longer and flip untrained but a 600w would give a better coverage over shorter plant trained with more colas. Thus allowing your light a little closer too.
Honestly though, don't stress over it. one way or another you will get some good weed. Potting up would be the best option as to not restrict the root growth and therefore not restrict the yield.
I'm sure you will get other opinions too. Theres a million ways to grow awesome buds!

the deal is one liter for every week the plants gonna be with you

3 months 12 weeks 12 litre pot is best

or suffer the inbound nute issues

ur 600w hps will cover your 9 plants in 12 liter/3usgallon posts well

for the standard 1 month veg and 2 month bud

if these were autos you could go a low as 10 liters for 8-10 weeks

good luck

as a side note:

the 4x7 imperial feets is about the size of the average 600w hps light footprint

the 400w is smaller at 3x6 feets, which then brings in the ideal height

check below in inches for your hps:

I am fine with the above. I just started with 8 plants in my room and switched to 6 on grow 2 and never looked back. Switched to 5gl. from 3gl on grow 4. Hit my first lb with my 600w on that grow. I don't really count veg days but look to flip at somewhere between 2 and 3 ft. I top and tie when they hit 15-18".
