1 Big or 2 smaller?

So it has finally cooled down here allowing me to get going again and am about to get a Northern Lights clone. I was wondering how effective topping this plant can be seeing as how I don't exactly want to buy 2 clones and would have to try and clone a second using shoddy cloning materials. Let me know what you guys think the best way to go is. Thanks :weed:

Looks like you answered your own question. ;)
Well I would like to get a decent yield. I'm working with a 2x2x5' high room and could grow one big nice one like my last grow, or I could fit 2 smaller plants. However I would either have to buy 2 clones or use shoddy materials to clone the original clone I buy. I just don't really know how easy/effective/possible it is to clone with simple materials and without a humidity dome etc. Input is appreciated thanks :D

If you really ont have cloning material and your getin unrooted clones, the basicly free best bet would be to get a 2 liter bottle n cut it in half put your dirt in the bottom with your clone then tape it back together n dont fuck wit it, remove the cap when needed to let out excess condensation should root anywhere form 8-14 days yea it takes longer but least its done for free if you don't have material.

Well I am getting the clone from someone I know and it will be rooted. But you're saying that is what I should do if I do decide to try and clone the one that I buy?

That's only if times are ruff, but foreal if I was buyin a clone with a strain that has a name ide get the needed material.

if your gonna do the 2 liter way make sure the bottom of the bottle is covered so the new roots arnt agitated from the light, a black big sock would do.

ive got northern lights on the go atm and they are very easy to clone, i took a cutting an jus put it straight into dirt with no cloning gel/powder an chucked it near a radiator just to see what happened an it jus plain n simply rooted an started growing no fuss.
also if your gna be growing NL just bear in mind that it stretches a lot in flower, when i flipped mine to 12/12 they went from about 1ft to nearly 4.5ft in less than 2 weeks

I have yet to grow NL and was wondering how it reacts to topping. Did you top or just grow it out? And thanks everyone for the help.
