this is my outdoor grow started about a 6 weeks ago in the south heres my plants. this first one is a plant i topped and put in a nearby field for plenty of sun a few days ago

So i started a new outdoor grow this is my third year both were lost due to vacations. i have a bend in the creek with a sort of half island they sprouted after i germed in 2 days so what should i do to only visit spot once a week? Mulch with straw nearby or leaves? or what can i do please help
