Leaves are twisting and middle leaves yellow/browning

Is this leaf twisting/browning due to Molybdenum deficiency? I cannot figure this out for the life of me...middle leaves are yellowing from the edges and adding magnesium does not alleviate the symptoms. Soil is Roots Organics orginal formula, and is mixed with plenty of Azomite so this does not...

    Early stage mites

buy Monterey Garden Insect spray. spray it on the upper and lower sides of the leaves. i had mites recently and i sprayed 2 days in a row then waited 3 days then sprayed 1 more time. doesn't affect the leaves at all, leaves no residue. haven't seen any mite activity since

    Best clones in Colorado?

They were in something similar to a rapid rooter/rockwool deal....their setup is great they have all of their clones in a tent. the problem with most dispensaries selling clones is that they simply take cuttings of plants, and root them in a clone dome, without any further care taken. it seems...

    Best clones in Colorado?

If you're around the Denver area, head to Kind Love on E Alameda Drive for clones...I've gotten clones from a number of dispos around here but so far these clones blow all the others out of the water. now, they do charge $25 per clone but I think it's well worth it. picked up a Moonshine Haze...

    What is this?? Pics available

your runoff should be very near there. nutrients start to get locked out around 5.5

    When does flowering actually begin?

pistil formation does not necessarily indicate flowering, it simply indicates that the plant is sexually mature.

    When does flowering actually begin?

there are 3 factors that determine whether a plant will flower: sexual maturity, photoperiod, and temperature. now, indoor flowering is induced by altering the photoperiod to 12/12 and presumably the flower-promoting hormones like gibberellin and cytokinin begin to see an increase in production...

    What is this?? Pics available

this plant looks very sativa dominant, based off the narrow leaf structure. maybe 80/20. that downward cupping in your leaves could be due to low pH, might wanna check your soil runoff

Rolandomotaa 's Plant Hormones Research Collection

Yes, subbed. I've been looking for a thread like this for a while. Personally i'm curious about what is happening chemically/hormonally as a plant switches to flower mode. from my research i've gathered that there seems to be an increase in gibberellin activity during this period and that their...

    Rare dankness/rd genetics

haha dawg, you get these as clones from Kind Love? they sell these two exact strains all the time, just picked up a night terror og from them actually...probably weird coincidence though

    Azomite question

you are correct but the one caveat is that it also takes longer for the nutrients to be available for the plants. just something to keep in mind

First time grower, Sick THC Auto Bomb's

soil runoff is measured simply by watering the plant enough to have a bit of runoff come out the bottom and measuring the pH of that water, or buying a soil pH meter (would be easier with these size plants imo)....i would attempt to get a measure on that before giving it nutes, as it could...

seems to me like they're starving for N (most likely due to lockout)...also have you checked your soil runoff pH?

Is the bigger plant male or female?

can't tell at all by these pictures...please post some pictures of the uppermost nodes (wherever there is branching from the main stem)...but if you see tiny little balls at this area then it's a male

    Problem

sometimes the first set of leaves naturally twist like that. you say the last time you watered was 4 days ago, but to me the soil still looks pretty wet...how much did you water them? it's also possible that you flooded the root-zone and this twisting happened as a result of that

young sprout leaf tips turning yellow, is this normal?

haha honestly can't even tell by that picture. maybe you could upload a pic where the actual plant is in focus and not the soil?

    Switching to flower 12/12

just want to comment about the 'if it doesn't happen in nature then i don't do it in my tent' sentiment. plants don't care whether something happens in 'nature' or not, all they care about is optimal conditions. this works out because 'nature' happens to provide very good growing conditions...

    Azomite question

granular Azomite or granular anything is going to take a long time to breakdown and leech all of each granule's nutrients into the soil. I personally use micronized Azomite at 1/2cup per gallon and i mix it right into my soil mix. i typically don't have to feed my plants any nutes throughout...
