    Outdoor Smells and Neighbors

A guy on ICmag was saying to use ozone and an elevated exhaust If you run an Ozone generator downstream from your greenhouse, with it's own mixing room/baffle box you should have no problems. If you stick in too much O3, it will smell of O3 around the area If you stick it in the greenhouse...

    Outdoor Smells and Neighbors

Thanks. Didn't know that. The one time I had noticed the plants smell stronger is when they need water. Didn't notice the humidity thing, but that might have been because I stayed inside the few days it rained last year.

    Outdoor Smells and Neighbors

Do you think a windbreak could help? I plan to sort of shield the growing area with quite a few tomatoes growing vertically on trellises around 8-9' tall. By August, the tomatoes will have filled in the trellises and looped back over the top. I'm thinking it could provide visual cover beyond...

Does it travel further in dry or humid conditions?

    Outdoor Smells and Neighbors

lol I was thinking more like 2-3? It'd be a 40x40 square with the 90ish plants screened in with sun screen so any wind would be slowed somewhat.

    Outdoor Smells and Neighbors

About how far away would you be able to smell an outdoor grow of 90 or so 25gallon smart pots, around 1500 sq ft? Put another way, how far would neighbors have to be away from such a grow site to not smell it in September?

    Dynagro is under-rated as fuck

My boy had plants grown in Subcool supersoil and sunshine/hydroton with Dynagro side by side this summer. Now they weren't the same strains--he didn't test them or anything, he just only had a certain amount of each media. Anyway, neither of us would say we noticed a huge difference in the end...

    I'm smoking salvia!

I hate the tingling body sensations and the distorted sense of gravity (I'd describe it as instead of straight down, gravity pulls down and to the right in a corkscrew). I find the visionary state to be callous and lizardlike. I'm sure other people must have had much better experiences because...

    Tomato Cage or Scrog

Yes build a scrog with something like chicken wire. I get why you would consider it but a tomato cage isn't really a good fit for your situation.

    smart pots

Smart pots are amazing. I have used them with great success on cannabis, leafy veggies and even tomatoes. Was growing some broccoli and cauliflower as a test but those died with the recent frost. Pros would include root pruning, aeration, durability The only real con is that you need to...

    i want to grow!

I'd recommend square foot gardening. You can grow a lot of veggies in less space than you'd expect. Every technique I've seen online is organic (you can find a ton of SFG help on the web) and the produce tastes phenomenal.

    How'd I Do?

Ran a cut of LA Con from Harborside this summer. Awesome kushy coffee smell. Has a very nice short, squatty structure

First Attitude order, which one should I start first

I had gotten a pineapple express freebie from them that turned out to be the single best seed I ever cracked. Good luck!

BHO at Dispensaries, Safety and Legal ??s

Thanks for your input Dan. I just read through that 'growers union' thread. You said clubs are increasingly turning to growing their own meds, cutting out indie growers. How has this climate impacted concentrates? I'd like to be able to offer ice wax or whatever you want to call...

BHO at Dispensaries, Safety and Legal ??s

I keep seeing a ton of explosion reports here and even more from all over, so why do dispensaries carry butane extractions? And wouldn't the pigs go straight for vendors who provided a club BHO if they did a raid and found records?
