Woot woot! I second that! Thank you voters!

Let's see how (ideally oregon) people feel about Prop 91 shall we?

Sorry, I didn't see this post til today (been working WAY too much), but I was a yes, so was boyfriend. After looking at the election results tonight, I guess most folks do think it's time to be legal, even with a ballot measure that's not perfect. I'm optimistic (aka "pie in the sky") that...

    PLANTS stolen!!!!

You could bring your surviving lady inside for the nights, and put a big (non-blooming) tomato plant in her place on the patio. Have the police on speed dial, ready for when the thieves show back up, and are caught red handed stealing your vegetables! If you live close enough, I will loan you...

understanding the law as a grower...

I'm all for legalization. I want no more prison time for A PLANT. Yes, the rules, taxes, and nitpickiness of the legalization process drive me crazy too, and aren't fair to the little guy......but if it meant someone's life was saved from prison because it was legal, than I'm for it. I'd also...

    the grow season is here

I thought 4 plants per household seemed a bit low, since I grow the majority of my yearly supply outdoors, in Summer. I don't grow monsters, either, so 4 only, just won't cut it. I agree with the above, "Just let us grow what the hell we want." :-)

    Live Chat

It's down at the bottom of the Forum screen. I jumped in to check, but it was a bunch of names I've never seen. Weird. Not that I know everyone on RIU, ha ha, but there wasn't anyone I was even vaguely familiar with.

Are you a "Greaser" or a "Soc"

I grew up in a Soc town, so I was a Soc -- but I dated the Greaser types from the next town over. I've always loved the bad boys. Until I'm the one paying their court & probation fees. :-(

Fathers: What did yours teach you? What's the most important thing to teach your kids?

My dad died suddenly (heart attack) right before my 15th birthday, so it's difficult to glean the big life lessons I learned from him. I've always felt somewhat empty and cheated with the parent thing (my mom, and my older brother both "checked out" from emotional anything after he died). It...

    OD on THC

Totally non-snarky answer here: For the last ten years, I've been getting headaches if I drink alcohol, any kind, but esp big/fast headaches with wine. My nose gets all stuffy, and my sinuses & eustachian tubes (ears) ache. Every time. My body is telling me, in pretty clear ways, that...

    Alabama has the best Jesus

I wish UofO Duck Jesus could get his act together to play and defeat Crimson Tide Jesus one of these years. Sigh. Always a Jesus Bridesmaid, never a Jesus Bride at the Jesus BCS game.

    paranoid thoughts before harvest...

I get more paranoid in late August, when the outdoor gals are huge, and super smelly (LST sativas, in 5 gallon pots to supposedly keep 'em small). I had sweet smelling lillies blooming all over the place, 2 tomato plants next to every pot plant, and an orange trumpet vine that surrounded the...

Yeah, Wikipedia refreshed my brain on Eddie's career. Funny, we always called Michael "Shuey" for a nickname. Are you from the UK, Racerboy?

what do you guys pay for weed

Please, for the sake of all that is holy, starting reading, and just grow yer own!!! I'm cringing at the prices, and honestly, even the shittiest, most mistake ridden weed that you grow yourself is better than paying that much! You can do it!

    The Beard Thread

Apologies for thread derailment, Pinworm! I say grow the beard, for no other reason than doing a change up. I do not approve of appearance tampering when it involves the shaving of chest hair though. I think it's awful, unless you are part of the Olympic Diving Team.

I know, I was really saddened to hear about Michael Schumacher (sorry bout previous spelling), as he was my ex's favorite driver, and was so much fun to watch. My son only had red Ferrari Hotwheel cars b/c his dad was such a fan. :-)
