I've grown real Bonsai before .... I gave up after I made the pot and trimmed the roots and wired them in place...lol I was like fuck this!! haha It's serious commitment... and lots of tedious work.

I'll not only crush one little spot but lightly crush an inch or more so I can bend a branch and make it stay where I want it, so that when it heals it heals to where I wanted it. I'll get some pics up of where I've done this and how it healed.

not currently, just take them and grind out a flat spot on the ends so when the pliers is completely squeezed the ends don't touch together if you use a bigger pliers to do bigger branches use the same method, I have done it so much now that I don't need to even grind it out....just use "finesse"!!

To all who read this..... how do you all feel about the dark period before harvest? Any info on hands on experience with it only. What did it improve, did it mature more quickly? more resin?, quantity, quality? How many days/ hours dark? Water during not at all just before.... what?
