I had mine sag before. Put them closer in the light so they don't have to stretch and get spindly but not to close to burn them. If it's hot on the back of your hand it's too hot for the plant. In my experience.

Taking a shot in the dark here but what i did for my leds is get the clamp on lights and hook them on something near what you wanna grow. They can adjust to different levels so it works great. I'm not sure of your set up though so just a suggestion.

Make sure to clean the Hydroton (Hydrogen?) before using it or it'll cause problems to the system. Germinating with the seeds from the paper towel method oppose to just dropping them in the rockwell seems to have more of a chance to germinate. Just make sure to use tweezers.
