SO I have the ph test kit that you add a few drops of some special liquid into a vial filled with the liquid you want to test the ph of, and it turns the color of the ph. To test a rockwool cubes ph what do I do? Rip off a piece of the cube and put it into the vial?

Hey stoners.... I have a question. My cfl light fixture came with two upside down v shaped mounting hooks. My problem is that with my rooms height being small the extra 2.5 " from the hangers brings my light a little too low. Is it dangerous to mount the light closer to the wooden ceiling?

For a grow cab thats only 24 cubic feet, would a 140cfm centrifugal fan be overkill to run through a can filter? I mean I know its overkill, but would it be smarter to get a cheaper axial fan?

I read somewhere that you shouldnt exceed a can filters recomended cfm or you could lose its ability to remove all the odor. But then on retailers sites they have a filter rated at 94cfm and recomend using a 206cfm fan to vent? Im confused now. Please help my stones ass!
