They will grow fine during veg at high temps. When you try to flower them that high, they will suffer and grow almost no bud. They are much more sensitive during flowering.
That space is so small. You should be okay with a cool tube but you don't need a light that big for a space so small.
Wood boxes get extremely hot, trust me.
It didn't want to veg anymore? Revegging is a weird process anyways, it takes about a month to return to normal. In the mean time it grows all mutated and then sends out a whole ton of mutated shoots. It's actually really cool.
In nature plants produce many seeds because many will die. Humans have just found a way to maximize the amount of seeds that will successfully germinate.
It is just a safer more controlled environment for germination. Then, the plant is allowed to grow somewhere else.
Go with the higher wattage right from the start if you're gonna get an LED system.
Another thought would be to get a larger cfl system in the 100+ watt range. One bulb, more power.
Miracle Gro Potting Mix, or Miracle Gro Organic Potting mix is a good one too.
I think it only comes in smaller bags, but Miracle Gro African violet is good too.
Very cool. But when you transplant you're going to want to get better soil. It'll grow fine for now, but after many waterings it will begin to struggle in that dirt.
It will work but you will not like it. Once all the bulbs are on it becomes a hassle. I would just recommend to use higher wattage bulbs and going past four bulbs per fixture is a bit of overkill.
