In basement, no light leaks at all and no smell. Noise from fan is loud....but I doubt that can equate to what I'm doing. I can barely hear the hum when its late night and Im in my bed. So during awake hours there is other noise too. Can't imagine how she/he knows.........that is what drives...

I do hav a trash bag in the basement I use just for that, no house stuff goes in there. Im tryin' to be on top of it!
