I actually have this light and I would highly recommend it. I have 2x2 grow box in a closet that I use it for. As others said, get the flange. You can hook up a four inch fan to it and vent directly. It's actually easier for me to control temps with the hps vented than it is using cfls for veg.

cfl's create heat. i'm not sure where the idea that they don't create heat comes from. i have an easier time cooling a 150 w hps than 200w cfl. I can vent my hps.

they are actually both just cloudy now. i would like to let the second one go another week or however long it takes to get to 30% amber and harvest the one that is most damaged now. i don't think it will grow much more. if the pictures check out i will probably harvest that one on thursday...

I had a hermie and tried to pluck. however a few sacs snuck in under leaves when i went away for the weekend. if you keep it you have to keep up with the plucking everyday without fail. To do it again I would get rid of it.
