Don't your nutes lower the ph? RO water should be a lot closer to 7.0. I use Flora Series and my water is 7.1. I use Lucas Ratio and end up with 5.9 after adding my nutes. My ph Down is lonely these days. If my ph goes UP, I add more nutes. If it goes down, I just add water.

With that small of buckets, this is something that you are going to constantly be fighting. More solution would lead to more stable numbers in terms of ph and ppm over the cycle of the grow.

Nutes will lower the ph. You should really have a ppm meter if growing hydro. But it looks to me that you are having some deficiencies that more nutes would cure including mag def. I bet that your ppm's are low but you are going to need a meter to be sure. My bet is they want more food.
