The HPS would definitely out perform the ufo in flowering and considering that most growers aren't in it for beautiful fronds and tiny buds my personal opinion would be with the HPS. My first attempt at growing was using those ufos and I was incredibly disappointed.

I would take back the LED and get the HPS. I was recently using 2 UFOs and 160w of fluoro(sp) and in theory they should've been equal to 1000w hps aprox. The leds couldn't sustain it though and I had to switch to HPS and they have started to thrive again.
