it might be overfertilizing actually, give the plants water and wait about a week. if nothing happens, or it worsens, try adding a little more potassium to the fertilizer

I start all of my plants that way, they seem to do great until they reach about 6"-8". Then i transplant into the standard 3 gallon pots where they remain for the rest of their lives. Some people say to not transplant into the 3 gallon pots so early in life, but I have not seen any adverse affects.
