Perlite is Perlite - really... I don't believe MG has a variety of perlite that's fortified with nutrients (make sure you read the bag of course) so it's identical to pretty much all other medium grain perlite. And the moisture control soil is alright... I've used it for many things in the past...

Alright. Well, as a precaution, I flushed each of their little cups with about half a gallon of water... in place of their watering this work week. I agree that this does not look like a pH issue (Although the clawing leaves on another plant might say otherwise) but we'll know for sure soon...

Thanks for the responses people. I definitely can't wait to get an accurate pH reading. I've tried adding a bit of calcium Carbonate to the water a few days ago - it seems to have made the problem worse. Perhaps my pH is too high.

Well, considering I'm growing under CFL lighting... And the temperature has never increased past 30c (86f) - and generally stays at around 84f... The plant was also leeched, and hasn't even been fertilized once (salt?) I'm at a loss, really.

I honestly wish I knew. pH Testing kit (reagent) coming in the mail soon... Hopefully by this Friday. Earlier in the grow, the plants leaves were curling downwards (as if overwatered) as well - if that has any significance.

So, yellowing and browing around the tips of the leaf... What's causing this? Keep in mind the plant has never been fertilized, and has been flushed at the first sign of this issue. The plant in question is 2.5 weeks into veg, and the problem is slowly progessing to higher and higher leaves...

Why does it matter what your store "legitimately" sells?

OP: For what it's worth - I've had plants whose pistils have outright died (IE brown and shriveled) long before proper harvest time. Grown out to trichome maturity, they were still great produce.

They're staying at a constant 24-25c under 24 hour lighting... I've flowered into the 32c range before without issue. And I specified they're in a 50:50 mix of leeched miracle grow shit and perlite. Any other opinions?
