hey i wanted to know if i bought a 1000 watt digital ballast and dimmed it to 600watts, would my power consumption be still 1000watts? or would the ballast adjust the watt consumption? im not looking to know about bulb burn outs , i just want to now if its dimmed to 600 watts...

i been checking out seeds,, and in their product info they put certain amount of grams per m2... the white widow has 325- 425 g/m2 that was around 10 sqf... but i did the math and thats around 11 oz? is this correct? can you get more or less?
