You can never over do it with cfls because of their low heat, but the more the better seems to be the general consensus.

I prefer 6500k over the 5000k but that is just my preference. Also you should probably invest in more light bulbs to spread the light around. and yes its ok to have them side by side.

They do, I have never had an issue with it just a lot of people are at work right now.

I prefer a few 2700k thrown in my mix but I mainly stick to 6500k during veg. I have 6 6500k bulbs and 2 2700k.

Well this is my first grow still and I dont know much still learning =] I will try to post some pictures for you soon but My girlfriend is all "Stop playing with your fucking plants! and pay attention to me for once!" lol

I hope my plants will turn out half as good as yours =]

recently I have gotten a few more lights on just to keep you updated Rollbluntz, I now have 1 26w cfl 6500k 2 13w or 15w cfl 6500k 1 26w i think its a 3000k also cfl and a florescent 18" 17w its a generic plant bulb but hey it couldnt hurt. I wish i could afford your t5's damn they rock!

I need my t5s on my fish lol =] but I love how well your plants are coming along.

Wow thats really interesting! Would it get enough sunlight being so small at the base? or is it truely attached to the main plant?

Now I know this has been asked before. But can someone show me some good pics to identify preflowers? and What should I look for?
