    when to start flowering!

Did you start them in "solo cups", or the containers they're in now? You always want to start small then transplant into a larger container, that way your root ball development can be much more compact. I know you have VERY limited space, but if you go from a solo cup to a one or two gallon...

wtf is eating my plant? i see NO bugs!

I wouldn't worry too much about two blades, probably nicked it somehow. We are own worst enemies when it comes to over thinking shit. Is it still confined to only a couple of blades? BTW, getting that Salmon Creek Kush thread ready to start. In the past I just start a thread in the "General...

Humboldts- Grow, Micro, Bloom & Ginormous Nutes

Fellow Farmers, I was wondering if anyone has run this 3-step nute program from Humboldt in soil. There are only directions for hydroponics and no mention of soil. Are certain types of nutes only intended for hydro, or can they be used in soil also? I know the Botanicare line can be used in...

Seedling Soil: Side by Side Comparison

Fellow Farmers, thanks for keeping this thread "growing". I had to shut things down for a while to relocate for work, but am ready for round 3. I am going to use mix 3 minus the Happy Frog(replacing with Light Warrior). Keep an eye out for my upcoming Salmon Creek Kush thread, I will post the...

Seedling Soil: Side by Side Comparison

Thanks Grizz! I am going to try Hygrozyme on the next round after reading an amazing article about it from an outside party. My local "mentors" also recommended it and it's a liquid which is much safer than the powder form. I always wear safety glasses and respiratory protection when using any...

Seedling Soil: Side by Side Comparison

Here are some updated photos, no comparison IMO. I will never grow without inoculated soil again. Now I just need a female from each strain, come on ladies!!

    Botanicare vs Humboldt

If you had your choice between these two product lines, which one would you choose and why? Please provide feedback for your vote as I have a tough decision to make, thanks! Also, do not vote based on bottle art because we all know Humboldt would win hands down.

Seedling Soil: Side by Side Comparison

"Mix 3" is definitely the way to go. I am glad that I ran two strains side by side so it leaves little doubt that inoculating the seedling/clone transplant soil will most surely speed up growth.

Is it Safe to run two different spectrums of lighting during Flowering ?

Absolutely use that T5 in conjunction with the HPS, if you can afford it on your power bill. Flowering Cannabis loves all spectrums of light. I have never done it because my 400W MH and CFL's are wrapped up in veg, but if I didn't have to worry about power and heat there would be a 400W MH next...

Ffof ocean forrest as a replacment to roots in supersoil

I use a 50/50 mix of FFOF and Happy Frog, the HF seems to cool it down just enough. Light Warrior is too light IMO. Week 3 Flower...

    Caramelicious Grow

I just noticed a small anomaly, one of the leaves on my Caramelicious is joined together giving it an oak leaf appearance. Interesting indeed, although only my 3rd grow I have never seen nor heard of this happening. Any input?

    Caramelicious Grow

Thanks for your interest! I am using a 400W MH + four T5's for veg and a 600W HPS for my bloom room. See photo below and check out the link for details on what's in the pot. https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/391100-seedling-soil-side-side-comparison.html

    hi brix molassas

It amazes me how the WWW guides me right back to where I started when googling Hi-Brix, ROLLITUP.org! Some great info here folks. I just started using Hi-Brix to feed my subculture. I did a side by side soil comparison thread which has started to evolve into a subculture conversation. If your...

    Caramelicious Grow

Since I am a little more experienced now, I am going to take another shot at growing Caramelicious. The first attempt resulted in one female which ended up getting infested with spider mites, before I knew what spider mites were. It yielded under an ounce, tasted like N, but did provide about 40...

Parabolic Dome Reflector OR Standard Sunbeam Reflector

WOW!! I went back to my Parabolic and could not be happier, the light penetration is noticeably greater! Wishing I had a "light meter" to determine what the difference actually is. Know where I can get a cheap/quality product? Heat is not a major concern as I leave the tent door open a lot...

Seedling Soil: Side by Side Comparison

Don't let it be bummer, let it be an eye opener! The glass is always half full over up here my friend. A lot of ppl swear by using just LW for seedlings, but it stays a little to dry for my liking cuz its so light. No pun intended... If you can get your hands on some try a 50/50 with the HF and...

    Fox Farms Light Warrior?

Viagro- I gave you some credit on my thread, if you get bored check it out. https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/391100-seedling-soil-side-side-comparison-2.html#post5129985

Seedling Soil: Side by Side Comparison

A quick look at the root ball from all 3 mixes. I learned from another member(Viagro) that light warrior already contains mycorrhizae, so there is no need to add additional if using it. This explains why the Mix 1 root ball looks just as strong as the mix 3 root ball, Happy Frog not impressive...

    Feeding Chart(s) Question!

Fellow Farmers, I am sure this question has been asked before so forgive me if it has. All feeding charts tell you to use a certain amount of their product each week. Lets use Humboldt Soil for example, they say "GROW WEEK 4- Humboldt Grow 4ml, Humboldt Micro 4ml, Humboldt Bloom 4ml. Here is...
