just thought id give an update..... been about a week since the problem has been corrected, we lost about 50 out of 200 plants..... the rest are recovering quickly and growing fast! The solution that seemed to work for us was 25 drops of ridomyl in our 80 litre rez x2 applications, and spraying...

the clones come from about 10 hours away, unfortunately taking back to the vendor is not an option, they have all grown quite a bit and I have enough material to make new clones if I must.... i dont think this is pythium or root rot, I think its just stem rot caused by too much moisture in the...

I have sprayed all infected areas with 3%hydrogen peroxide.... hopefully this will kill the rot!

so ive gotten a better picture of the worst one... about 30 of 100 clones are like this, unfortunatly i can only get my clones in jiffys, thats how they come. so this is not treatable fixable by drying out or using certain fungicides etc?

i just noticed one of them has allot of white moldy growth in the jiffy......

im drying out the jiffys as much as possible....... however im wondering if this is pointless and i should just toss the bad plants? the brown/black area on the stems are dry more like they would crack from plant weight then tip over from being mushy......

anyone have any similar experiences.suggestions.ideas?

stem rot? jiffys in rockwool cubes on slabs, i was watering the cubes every 2-3 days by hand but the jiffys hold more water then the cubes and have been staying wet. it has been 3 days since the cubes went onto the slabs and the slabs are still pretty moist... jiffys are still moist too, next...

2 days into 12/12... i think i may have spotted some stem rot as a cause of the jiffys holding too much water in the rockwool blocks..... I will start watering only the slabs to give them some time to dry out a bit hopefully they will dry up and toughen up!

I have 2 4 foot scrubbers, one in each room pushing air back into the other room. I have been experimenting with vitamax and b-52.... vitamax does seem to be giving very slightly better results, howevever I will know better in a few more days!

decided to switch to 12/12 today! 10 days since I put them into the rooms, about 90% are doing excellent(avrg 6-8 inches tall) while 20-30 plants are smaller and stunted... Ive spread them out to try and maybe control the mayhem and possibly even out the canopy later on.... wish me luck:-P on...

I am dripping until i see 10-15% runoff... alternating between stronger and stronger feedings and lower solution feedings in between to avoid having to flush. ill give a strong feed with almost no run off, then a lighter one the next day with more run off to compensate... I am using 3 drippers...

they are all still in veg, I have the flip flop doing lights 1 and 3 in room A and 2 and 4 in room B. so all plants are getting 24/7 light... ill put some new pictures up in a bit.... they are really starting to branch out...... it might be time to start lollipopping!

what are ideal root temps ? how much cooler than above the canopy? i was always told to keep pots/whatever your growing in off the floor to prevent from getting too cold

Thanks bigv, that is what I thought. just wanted some other insight as the radiant temps do get 10-15 degrees hotter at times!
