Fungas gnats won't harm your plants, they will annoy the shit out of you though. Their larvae are what you need to worry about. Get some diatomaceous earth and place it on your soil. It will kill any larvae that could pop up. As far as the gnats themselves get some sticky traps.

Plant looks really healthy to me. I'd say turn one of those intake fans into an exhaust if possible. So you have 2 exhaust and 1 intake.

Listen to your plants. If they don't look unhealthy then you probably aren't depriving them. In soil I usually just feel about 2 inches under the soil, and if it's dry I'll water. Or trying picking up the buckets and seeing if they're light weight or not.
