You can washem, soak em, boil em...But they are on the cheap side of things, so replacement tends to be easier. I boiled my first batch (after soaking, after a grow), never ever again... A very smelly experience that lingered on forever...Thats just my .02 Goodluck with what ever you choose :)

I'd do what ever your set up will support the most..As long as you vent that inside tent air through the carbon filter....Ive seen it done in the same room, or vented to an attic filter, both pretty much effective as long as you got a decent inline fan.. Good luck man
