You using HID lighting??? The instructions on my ballast say to leave the ballast off for 30 min before turning it back on. You are also putting extra stress on the bulb by turning it on and off a lot. Not sure about it stressing the plants out though.

Ok so your talking 450 square feet with roughly 450,000 lumens right?? That's only 1k lumens per square foot. you would need a lot more light to fill a 15x30 room.

What you are talking about is called powdery mildew, or "pm". The most organic, and IMO best way to get rid of it is to lower the humidity with a dehumidifier. All other fixes are simply a bandaid. Here are some links to info on PM, and ways to keep it from spreading...

The problem is that RO filtering strips all of the calcium and magnesium out of the water, and the foxfarms lineup doesn't have enough. If you do a search for magnesium deficiencies you will find that it's a common problem. The tap water would help correct the deficiency, but you might run into...

You need to add calmag if you are going to use RO filtered water. Get on it quick or they will go downhill fast.
