It's deff a female. It hasn't been messed with at all during flowering and I'm still not seeing buds :( Stay patient? or do you think it could be a lost cause?

I have a female plant about a foot and a half tall and it has been in flowering for 12 days now, when can I expect to see the forming of the actual buds? (I tried to find it in the FAQ and couldn't)

Is it bad to have lights on 24/7 before it reaches height to begin flowering? If so what is a good time span for lighting and darkness before flowering?

Can anyone help me with lighting. I was wondering when do I switch the lights to 12/12? Is it right after the plants have sprouted through or wait till flowering? PLEASE HELP
