Yep! Just dry it first. I suggest just letting it dry naturally, then test it... Which means you have to wait a few days before testing the sample. Of course, you can do the different quick drying techniques, but most of the time they ruin the test sample (inaccurate smell, taste, feeling).

Yes, I do grow with only CFL's and no nutes for every plant. For some reason, I have had great success with this method. Of course, I know that with nutes and better lighting, I would yeild much more, and bigger buds. I don't really want to run MH/HPS though (even though I like MH/HPS better)...
