so, im working with a new strain and have come close to harvest time. about 15% of the hairs are red and but the trichs are half amber and half cloudy. what should i do? harvest now? or wait until more hairs turn red?

don't worry. the tiny shoots that come up look like "hairs" sometimes. but like you did, extending the light period is your best bet, maybe even try 24 hours.

get an IONIZER, some have UV lights to get the smell as well...those filters are great... i use that and a homemade carbon filter...they're GREAT!

oh yeah, and make sure that your "night" periods are DARK

looks pretty nice, stealth grow. make sure your cfl is dual spectrum with red and blue spectrum to induce and encourage flowering. cfls take a little llonger to start budding too

looking a lot better, vegging with better penetrating lighting during veg helps A LOT. i did a veg with one 105w cfl and another veg with the 105w and a couple for under growth and the one with more undergrowth lighting looked as good as good as one batch under a 400w mh...

usually you would flush your plant the last week of blooming to improve taste and rippen the buds

if you used a 2000gph pump your house would explode! i think anything over 500gph would be fine...i think it would depend mostly on the size of your rez

im pretty sure that if the bud was left in a room, with a light on, and at 111 degrees, the buds have dried all the way and won't sweat. i would crack one of them open and check how the insides are and see if they have a possiblility of sweating. i like the lettuce or sponge method bc it...
