Ive Known forever that the vapor light is off spectrum. and gets hot. but i put it in for extra lumens and i read in the cannabis grow bible that MV will flower quite nicely if you control the heat issues

i have a 100 watt hps coming in the mail I thot the plants were doing pretty damn good lol no need to knock me down so much geez its my first grow and i think i did a pretty damn good job and ima get some bud

This is my first grow. I have 2 bagseed girls. No sign of hermie so far. I have 4 100 watt cfl And a 100 watt mercury vapor from 20 years ago that i had that works I used miracle grow organic choice potting soil. I had a few gnats come about so i bought some fox farm don't bug me...

Any one have nething to say :wall:lol

is the bud developing correctly? should the buds be bigger by now?:confused:

yea bagseed grows great bud. my friend grew some mexican brick nasty seeds and it came out to be amazing bud kept me blowwwwed for like 4 hours

Yea i got a 100 watt hps off ebay and it should be here soon so ill throw that in for sure

they look nice and healthy but the stems r a little discolored. That could be a slight nutrient problem or a ph problem. Ours look to be about the same with pistil count. but you deffinantly have more foliage.

Yea thats prolly y urs are farther ahead than mine. and i never topped them either, prolly y u have more foliage

so i think ive really only been flowering for 2 weeks. btw can you post pics of urs so i can compare

Yea i swithed it to 12/12 when pre flowers were not fully developed. that might be why its not as far along. I had 6 plants that i couldnt for sure tell the sex even with a microscope. so i switched them to 12/12 an a week later i could see the first pistils and new there was 4 males.

I had a fixture and lamp from about 20 years ago lol i found it in my basement. I read that its not a perfect spectrum. but since i got cfls i thot i'd just put it in to throw around some extra lumens.

O that light isnt an hps its a mercury vapor i didnt realize i wrote hps I no MV is shitty but its all i had and it seems to be working fine

Well hermie's are not to bad to get because the seeds that they produce cannnot be male. thats where seed banks get ther feminized seeds. ther guarenteed female or hermie.
