Can a cfl light in the blue spectrum be used to supplement uvb light? Or is it a must to have a UVB bulb?

Where should the UV lights be placed? In front of the plant? over top of it? Or at the bottom aimed upwards?

Ok, next prob. Why have the crown jewels at the top of my plant gone back to producing more shade leaves than pistils? I should normally see a few new hairs everyday. Instead i'm seein new shad leaves everyday.......What on earth is goin on?

Ok, I am wondering what i can do about these single bladed leaves that are stretching out of the bud itself. It's my understanding that these should not grow to be long and linky away from the bud itself. Can I trim any of them away? Not the fan leaves....but the single bladed shaders! please...

O.K I got 1 plant that's doin fine. Looks like another nice big bud's gonna form on it. but plant B..... I dunno the buds look thin and airy. Should I just let them be and give them time to fill out? Or is this a sign of real trouble. Please advise.

Fingers crossed. This time i'm using 2 lamps for vegging. I'm gonna put then in my flowering box in a week or 2. I found the 300 watt cfl's. Bulb and lamp with 10 in. shades under 20 bucks. Imma see if i can add 1 or 2 to the box. we shall see what happens! wish me luck!

I trimmed my plant today and almost harvested it. But I figured I'd get some opinions first. A lot of folks are saying let it ripen longer. Can it still ripen after such a trimming?

Can anyone tell me how to get 400 to 600 gr. per plan? I see seed sites that claim that. And I have seen it in pictures and in real life in Amsterdam. How is it done????? Please advise!

This is my first plant. I think i got about a month to go. Can anyone give me any advice? And maybe rate how good it looks. I grew it with a 60 watt cfl in a desklamp and a halogen. I think it looks pretty good compared to the other pictures I've seen. I have some seeds from Amsterdam, I'm gonna...
