Yeah dude, there's a few top quality books on my bookshelf atm, another excellent one, more on the sciencey side of things, but still pretty easy to understand, is called My Inner Fish: the 3.5 billion year journey into the human body, outstanding explanation about the development of our bodies. Billions and BillionsCosmos are two books I credit with sparking my interest in science, along with the one I listed in the thread A Short History of Nearly Everything.
Also, if you like the information or topics included in the books I mentioned, go digging in philosophy, the quality by some of the ancient philosophers is endless! Compounded by the fact they were thinking this shit up THOUSANDS of years ago! Stuff like that blows my mind!
