I would like to know how a ban on ar15's would stop a crazy person from acquiring one of hundreds of millions of ar15's already in the hands of millions now. Unless you mean along with a ban the government goes door to raid every home in America for their weapons

Everyone needs food to live. You don't need SSRIs or guns to live. Anyway, blaming food for obesity is different from blaming SSRIs for gun violence or vaccines for autism because consumption of food is actually related to obesity. Vaccines are not related to autism and SSRIs are not related to gun violence. Unless you plan to cite something peer reviewed.
