CLONING A CLONE!!!

I have a question should I skip station 2 where I let the clones veg for a month. And maybe just do one month from the time I cut the clone to let them root trans into 3gs and let them veg for the rest of that month (1 month total from cut to flower) or should I let them have their own month ov veg. I don't want my 5x5 over flowing but I want it to fill up at the same time!

Head room and the amount of training I want to do dictates my flower time. As for crowding, most newbies, including myself, tend to crowd the plants thinking more is more, that's sometimes not the case lol. The issue I had was timing, I use trays with multiple plants and the vegged plants would get too large before the flowering plants were finished, I needed a seperate flower room to move the vegged, ready for flower, trays into. I'm switching to pails to more accommodate perpetual :).

I think a lot of the time people are "too high" to understand how someone's post relates to their question.
I sure as shit get blasted before posting on here..And always end up telling a story that almost alwAys deviates from the topic..and for that iam sorry. But its on my mind at the time. I was responding to a post that Sunshine said about people overthinking thier situation and gardening. And I related it to a long drawn out post about how my granny never thought much about growing cannabis but always seemed to grow the best with simple and proven techniques/practices. But my weed is good. I can never be too high and you all will prolly continue to read my inane stories/posts because I cant help it.

I grew like that for 2 years. Used to be nervous about ordering seeds & only had 1 small grow space. So I'dtake clones put them under a small lamp & flower the mother.

youll probably have better success with younger mothers, just take clones as they are growing or when they stretch all at once when you trim before they flower

think about it this way if its not drying fast enough like clothes in your washer it will mildew and turn sour which is the begging stages of mold

From there I plan to take about 10 cuts for clone(every month hopefully)

First spot: will be clones rooting and transplanting in 3gs

Second spot: will be the 5-6 best clones of those 10 in 3gs for vegging.View attachment 4048897

Third spot:(in flower room) will be the same 5-6 clones after a month veg and start first month flower

Fourth spot: girls will be finishin second half of flower still in 3g
View attachment 4048898
Fifth spot: will be the couple of girls that haven't finished.

Six spot: will be when I re amend my 3g soil and let it cook for month before returning starting!

I havent been able to test this yet if anyone has any opinions please let me know. I plan to finish all clones in 3g tlos.
Hope to keep same mothers for at least a year I may change it up. Also I'm flowing under 1000whps in a 5x5 tent with carbon scrubber and a/c bringing in fresh air.
I feed and water with acct and sst. I never check any pH or anything! I also use a living cover crop miz of clover buckwheat and barley straw!
I like the durolux t5. I've got three. In the closet. I went led. Durolux are cheap but they work great. Had a ballast fail and emailed the company and they sent me a new one free of charge.

I found a new light at my hydro store 30 bucks for each one it's very simple. You daisy chain as many bulbs together as you want I'm only using 2 right now but plan to run 3 total. Which works perfect for me bc I don't want my mother's growing wild so less and spread out light is better for me. And if I ever choose I can go buy up to 8 bulbs and string them together!15121061362541007662974.jpg

What's your guys take on light schedules for new clones? Ive heard 8 hrs darkness then 24/7 after. Ive heard straight 18/6 from the first day and many other opinions. I would like to do 18/6 permanently for my veg/flower room! So all clones and mothers never change light schedule. Same for my flower room always 12/12

your instinct is correct 18/6 is fine. OThers will work as well but 18/6 is fine

Good idea to keep seed plants (seedlings especially) under some kind of minimal dark period. I will prolly catch hell from the forum "experts" but is what it is. Also an 18- 6 or 20 - 4 photoperiod for mother plants just to slow em down is what I do. I share a total mother stock grow house with a couple of trusted grow pals - most of the keepers - a backup spot. I want my stock mothers on a slow but steady ride. In big pots of soilless mix..either peat based or coco coir...under t5's raised fairly high. They are perfectly healthy..but we put the brakes on our moms. With cuts taken from them moms...you can run 24 hrs. Once they root they wil take off a little quicker than if you gave them a 4 or 6 hour dark in veg. Me...Ive ran all the photoperiods over the years. Ive settled on 18 - 6 in my veg room for everything just for the simple fact Iam saving 6 hours of an already silly electric bill. Every little bit counts..especailly if your running alot of watts for the whole operation. And my veg room (seedlings/cuttings/ vegging preflowers/mother stock) runs just fine on 18 -6. And it doesnt have to be pitch black like the flower rooms. I pop in there all the time with a dim light for plamt maintenance/work. And I sometimes leave the tent unzipped and open. Its not critical to have 4 or 6 hours of pitch black in veg.

are those those bad boy t5's? you can do the same with them but theyre more expensive and youd probably get the same results using the ones youve bought for wayyy less haha

i have a poll posted on here and everyone voted for 18/6 and 12/12, i had all different lighting sc\hedules listed as well and some voted for other times but the majority for veg was 18/6 and 24/0 and 12/12 for flower

i personally run 24/0 for the first week or two then switch it to 22/2 then to 20/4 18/6 and for flower 12/12. used to just do 24/0 to 18/6 a couple weeks later then my flip to 12/12
