Justifying Corporate Salaries in America

I took a look. It's bullshit. These conspiracy theories that predict doom have no accountability. Ten years from now it will be something else.
Thanks for taking the time to take a look. I was expecting it, I've heard that before, nothing new.

I don't think I'll ever convince you that this stuff is used to manipulate you. Maybe it's just about donating money for a cause that is just about donating more money. Or maybe it's a recruiting tool for people who want to lure impressionable young people into a dreadful cause.
Is that a theory?
I've found that people who are hooked on conspiracy theories are not worth talking to. Most are losers in real life and conspiracy theories make them feel "in the know". So, I'll just put you on ignore now and not wish you the best. This stuff is dreadful.
That just gave me the impression that you are one who feel "in the know".

I actually bought a really nice water filter from an online retailer advertised on infowars. Like I needed a water filter, navigated to infowars and went shopping. It is a fantastic water filter. It came with replacement filter heads. I had the option to make the purchase with bitcoin but I just used my charles schwab debit card.

Awesome water filter though.

I got a call from Microsoft about how my computer was corrupted and how I needed to turn control of my computer over to them, then and there or my access to the internet would have to be cut off. It went great. I gave them control of my computer. I don't know what they did but it's obviously doing something.

There are plenty of old men who talk about that stuff too. Even WWII generation had a conspiracy theory about FDR conspiracy to let Japan bomb Pearl Harbor. There was even one about a second shooter in the Lincoln assassination. During Vietnam, there were plenty of conspiracy theories too. Some psychologists say fake conspiracy theorists stem from the natural instinct to identity patterns that allow people to predict danger. What was an important survival skill is now a comfort to those who can't handle the complexity of today's life.

I also don't think MarWan had a chance. He doesn't understand today's technology, which indicates to me that his education wasn't very good. Imagine growing up with a poor education and surrounded by the kind of myths he tells here to explain his reasoning. Some people believe every word of the Bible or Quran is meant to be followed literally. Not too different than the run of the mill conspiracy theory.

But, yeah, the speed at which conspiracy theories propagate these days is faster than the speed of light. It was just hours after 10/1 disaster when the myth of a Las Vegas second shooter showed up.
Saw some dude claim to be an expert in acoustics, he was counting the spikes he claimed were all gun shots from a cell recording on YouTube and saying how some of them didn't match up.

Yeah... cos echos, you dickhead. Acoustic expert, eh?

I saw that too. What do you want to bet that somebody is going to object to your argument that those blips were echoes with some other pseudo scientific explanation.

Do you remember when @ttystikk jumped to the immediate conclusion that the sarin gas attack in Syria earlier this year was a plot by the Trump administration? Or something like that. He got his information from infowars or zerohedge which were repeating the same stuff Russia was promoting. He's another weak mind that is susceptible to conspiracy theories. I think it all starts with his cynicism.

An ignorant discovers his entire life is actually a television show.

"Truman", an ordinary man unaware he’s being watched by millions from all over the world. He lives in a large studio with hidden cameras everywhere. All his friends and townspeople are actors playing their roles in the most popular TV-series in the world: “The Truman Show”. When an actress falls in love with him, she breaks onto the set to tell him the truth. But if your world were so perfect, would you want to listen?
