COB LED.
If you want serious penetration and can handle the heat Gavita DE Fixture have unparalelled penatration.
However, OIO would recommend COB LED DIY or buy a fixture from one of the several RIU advertiser COB sellers.
Mars are very overpriced could build the same fixture for cheap due to the cheap Epi Diodes.

I'm working in a closet guys , an hps /mh system would be to extensive , not money wise just won't be able to run the duct into the main room can't burst holes in these walls .

Need light to lower leaves . Not as strong as they should .

Yes. You should look into light spectrums and plant growth and can now by many different t5's. Some are uv specific. Some include some uv. And they have red and blue spectrum bulbs too. You can mix and match.

I just use stock 6500k bulbs in a 2 foot 8 bulb lamp in a 3x3 veg tent myself. But I have seen amazing flowers under t5's lately.

COB LED. Have good penetration.
Checkout the LED section here on RIU for crazy yields (1.5GPW+).
How much space you working with?
Budget?

DIY COB LED.

Don't buy a bullshit LED light you'll regret it.
Don't buy a 315 CMH as the cost to buy one of these is about the same for a small COB light ant it will nearly double the efficiency of it, while saving you on electricity per month.

There are alot of good LED companies. Should be more specific on your comment to let the OP have more details.
If OP wants to buy a light there are many COB vendors such as PLC, Timber, CobKits, Northern,Tasty.
By bullshit i believe you mean "blurple". They work fine, I own a Mars 1200 and has worked fine for me. However it was not worth the pricetag and I could have built a nice Vero 29 setup.

Mars hydro's are not heat free.
I run a 2x2x4 clone/seedling tent with a Mars2 300, 180 wall watts. It needs to be vented or it will get too hot.

I never said anything about heat. Obviously they produce heat. All depends on the efficiency and how soft they are run.
I am quite aware of the laws of thermodynamics.
My point was the fact that the comment was just a statement without proper specifics that would help the OP.
I have run a mars 1200 in a 2 x 2 with a small fan just to see how much heat was there. It was hot I can say that, but no where near as hot as a HPS. Plants were fine.

COB will far out yield a DE watt for watt.
COB pays for itself in first grow.
I have calculations.
DE is hot as shit.
COB gets warm but easily manageable.
Wow, can cobs really get 1.4+ g per watt? That's amazing! I hear the 315cmh can get 2gpw, been hearing the hype alot lately
