yes...be very very careful
You never get rootbound? They don't use up the nutrients? Maybe that's why you only get 2 zips per plant. I'm not trying to start an argument or shit on your methods. Like you said to each their own. I'm just imagining a room full of ten gallon pots with sprouts in the bottom. Growing plants start to finish in the same pot wouldn't work for me. I don't have enough room.

if im not mistaken he has a 2ft by 4ft by 5ft tent. not much room. same issue i have
orange kush would explain the fat leaves its a desirable trait. Kush normally grow smaller and bushier so I would say so far you're on the right track. yellow leaves are a sign that you need to start feeding. When you see roots at the bottom of the soda bottle transplant to a 1 gallon then to your three gallon pot. make sure the last transplant has a few weeks before you flower otherwise it will be growing roots when it should be flowering. good luck

I got 2 zips per plant last grow because I burned the tops which got too close to the light. The grow before that was 5. 8 zips from 2 plants which I consider decent in a 2x4x5 tent with a single 400W HPS. No I've never gotten root bound, ever

Hey guys....I'm NOT trying to say that transplanting is wrong. I'm just saying that FOR ME...I don't see the need. Kind of the old saying if it aint broke...don't fix it ya know. It works for me so why bother making a change. But when a guy comes in here telling me I'm wrong..well I gotta tell ya man you got no room to talk when you think fat leaves are "bad" so how bout we end this stupid debate and let everyone do their own thing and nobody is "wrong" deal?

RIU is a great tool with some great information to be had, but like anything else....everyone here is a "master grower" in their own mind and think their methods are the "best way" to grow this shit. I've learned that growing is not as hard as people make it out to be...its mostly common sense and a little patience and if we all get off our "high horses" maybe this site will be even better...just sayin
