Good soil

So if everyone is using miracle gro here how is that working out for yall . I've got 2 sativa plants in m.g and my plants look like shit

bullshit, most growers here use ffof or similar products and not time release crap
Hey tomascat do u plant seeds straight in ffof or wait tell u repot it. I've heard about it burning the seedling and I've got this silver haze and I want the best for this plant and as much advice as possible

The sarcasm on this thread lol...
Alot of people use FFOF... just use the search function bro. I would also research more on growing if I were you because its basics that you do not start seeds in a hot soil like FFOF. Use a seed starting mix FoxFarm light warrior for example...

read up on organic soils and thank me later. you will be 10x more successful if you can read up on how soil works. barn buster posted some very informative links. the fact that you are asking someone if FFOF will burn a seedling pretty much tells me you didn't read and understand the links. the answer is IT CAN burn a seedling, but that is entirely growers error, reading the links will prevent that. while many growers do use FFOF, take a look at all the big boys soil grows and see how making theire own soil benefits them. then keep the boner in your pants after looking at their harvest pics.

I just changed over from MiracleGro to Fox Farms potting mix. The FF is a bit pricier but has some advantages. First is that the FF doesn't have the chunks of wood fiber that have been known to keep new seedlings from sprouting in the MG. I used to have to hand-sift the MG when using it for new seedlings. The FF also has more perlite than the MG.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Thanks for all the feed back didn't mean to start a war but nun the less I really don't know shit about growing. I've been doing a lot of research on what to do and what not to but all I get is one thing works for one and not the other so to cap on the ffof and mg I'm just gonna go half coco and half ffof.

Yes it's good soil but I think it's a little hot for seedlings. I mix with happy frog or light warrior or I just start in light warrior and up pot to ocean forest once it has a few nodes

I'll try that light warrior I've got big hopes for my new crop I don't smoke the fruits of this great plant but if my super silver comes out the way I want I'm gonna have no choice but to in joy my crop. Thanks for the info its been helpful. As u can tell I'm new to growing and have done tuns of research but I hear this worked for me this didn't next guy complete opposite so that's why I'm asking what is what but I'll try and if I fail I'll know what not to do next time. Thanks again and if u got more advise I'm an open book the more I know the better.
