Not wasting it. Ice hash seems to be great. With any extraction i do its a mess....Seems like half gets left on the pyrex. I do enjoy kief finger pressed into semi light hash...not super hard (personal) use. What do i do. Im harvesting my six month 4x3 scrogged jack off today and its one monster.....stay focused...ADD?..lol..whats the best way to make a concentrate for the hobbyest. I am EXTREEMLY tolerant to my strains and praying this strait up haze with give me a mighty blow...uppercut...
Do i dry and cure first? Do i have to have oil matts and shit. I got parchment papper. Do people use bubble bags still? Im an old fart and dont care if some plant material is in my dope

Yes it is the prototype, very beautifully designed and works extremely well. rather not mention where i am from. You can go to the web site and purchase one. it takes a few months to build it and 60-75k each. Well worth it and having ASME certified components (really not needed but.....) adds value and safety.

But no matter what you use to extract the flowers/Trim the product still needs to be made into something amazing and medically viable. This is usually where it gets muddled up. I have been practicing on the smaller version and getting great returns on some pretty half ass shit. But the nug runs are absolutely the best and tasty. <---- impractical without having own grow. The variable aspects of the extraction (exposure- temperature- quality) and than the processing of that product (heat-time-thickness-wax content-vacuum-etc) all change the outcome and quality of extract.
I want to discuss all aspects of BHO start to finish and with the equipment to do it the will and desire to succeed and provide CBD medication. If anyone has experience in using the Tek cascade oven and/or any other info on temps times vacuum setting results!!!! analytic results from labs on products made! Terps. Saving them!

Also what is the market screaming for? Wax? Shatter? Clear? Oil? Honey oil? Huh so many names for so many different stages of processing.

Quickest for me is dry ice hash.

I had 1414 grams of wet trim. I used 10 lbs of dry ice and 220 mc bag. I shook like crazy for about an hour and.... I'm not sure yet of the weight as it is still to damp to press. But it'll likely be about 50ish grs.

I dont wanna be that guy, but you really paid that much and you dont even know the market? And dont know the finer things that come with experience. Dont have your own grow either?
Just seems not very well thought out, i hope your in a legal state. Im not and after hearing tamisium releasing customer info from my state im sure glad i dont have one, ive got enough legal troubles right now.
One last thing? Wheres the 4 kilos supposed to fit? And you yielded 3/4 pd? Is that pound? Not a very good yield if thats what happened.

So... rosin.... squish the bud to squeeze the goodness out of it???

Except that when the trich heads burst the bud sucks up some goodness and the some of it ends up on paper....

Leaving both the bud without all of it's goodness and what's on the paper without all of it's goodness....

To end up with two inferior products????

Not everyone has the quality of flowers you need to make this feasible. If you have the right flowers it is actually a very valuable process and eliminates the need for chemicals. You most likely can't tell the difference between my rosin and my shatter unless I told you.

I like how you are cool with trichomes being frozen and smashed with dry ice but OMG rosin is the devil ma! Go rosin that dry ice garbage and you will change your mind.

Not to mention all the contaminant in the dry ice hash.

It makes sense to be cool with trichomes being frozen and separated.

Its inferior, all there is too it really. Rosin is a glassy solid because the lighter compounds were removed. Thats basically the definition, its not something new. Yea this will raise cannabinoid content, at a cost. Great if your going for a high content to show consumers. Not so great medically.
Not that im a huge fan of sieved hash anyway, just saying

Most people cant tell the difference in potency between strains of just weed. Anyone who says they can tell the diff between a strain 18% and 23% i would call bullshit on...

The concentration levels are compounded by the amount inhaled with medicine like rosin. I can take huge dabs and my lungs feel so good lol and dam do I get higher than off any BHO. I have BHO tested at 97% cannabinoids and almost 90% thc and my rosin at about 10% less on both is a better high hands down. End of discussion lol.

Ya I agree 100% But making that into rosin removes those contaminants. That is the way to get larger yields from rosin, just start with kief.

Well sieved hash is not what it used to be. My dry sift 99% heads tests at mid 50% thc and cannabinoids, but this is the full ensemble effect medicine, it gets me just as high as the rosin but it is harder to make a lot of it.

dude i make perfectly fine hash and i live in sc. i cant get reefer around the corner man. I think im sticking with the ice hash because i can agitate it more and more and keep the super dank for ME....oh shit, what if i smoke PLANT MATTER...will i die? lol
