Well, that is true and if that is what you meant, good on you.
What I have found is pH is meaningless in practice since it drifts by a whole point or more in 24 hours, responding to the light.
But, if I don't measure PPM I have no idea.
So, for pH, and again why I don't change feed, is a set ratio of feed in RO water will only have a single pH value, no matter the concentration, the water being almost neutral.
So, I set initial pH, after taking notes and measuring etc, simply by measuring in the feed and supplements. In fact the ratio of Ca/Mag/Si, I use is around 5.5 and with the water, and feed I come out at 6.1. Done.

6.1 is a really safe PH to run depending on the strain it allows uptake on all the micro nutes and allows proper uptake of N-P-K, good luck to you and keep growing.

the plants have an "electrical" nutrient uptake which is affected by ph however, the plant will not uptake what it doesn't need..ph is to make conditions correct for availability to plant.

I'm not saying everyone on here needs help some people have their way of doing things and I respect that but for the people who are having trouble I enjoy giving them educated advise from my experience. I started growing like 6 years ago with and knew nothing about cannabis growth, I have grown plants all my life but I never tried to grow my own bud until then and I learned everything from trial and error and my peers on here and now I can grow with ease almost like it second nature. I want to help other people improve on their skills so we can all grow good herb and be proud of what we accomplish.
