this is currently my 5th go round, i have had moderate success. only 1 time (my second) did the buds turn out solid. every other grow, even with better temps and equipment have turned the buds light n fluffy. tho if you were to smack someone while its fresh it would not only hurt, but stick lol.
the buds are so smelly n sticky n frosty, then dry up into almost nothing....
i know my temps could be better, their continually getting better as time goes on. the next chance i get I'm going to try to get a small AC in the window. i know that will help, just putting the fan on (its winter!)
i tried molasses, if you don't use enough, its pointless to use it. if you use too much, it clogs the air filters and then attacks the roots suffocating the plant. i did buy some carbo load stuff, it wasn't expensive, and between the carbs and advice, i think everything will be good.

i just came from another forum where the people were quite rude...i'm hoping that doesn't happen here.

follow directions, they are there for a reason....asholes are everywhere here, you just have to weed them out, but it isnt as bad as other sites.

Give some info on your setup. that may help to give some ideas on why ur getting fluff. A carb load or lack thereof is not the likely cause.

basic setup is HID lighting, 2 reflectors, both 400 watt, and a vertical of 400, each bucket has 2 air stones cause that makes roots so happy. have good vnhilation, its about a 7x7x7 area. have to take up corners with equipment n tubing. . canna nutes. everything looks good up at the end, harvest, drys and shrinks into kick ass fluff.

More light is the first place to go.
At 7x7. 2 1K lights would be the best. 2 600's would be the least I would use.
2 400's are simply not enough lumins for that area. I strongly suspect that is the base problem here!
You WILL see the improvement your looking for by increasing your lighting out put more so then anything else.

If you run ANY Sativa or "high" Sativa cross. 1K lights are a must for that space!!

Are you in soil or hydro?

Canna nutes eh. Are you using all the available components from Canna?
Like are you using the PK 13/14?
Going from veg to bloom nutes?

Added carbs do have a limited effect, but they are not the real answer to your problem.

Consider the use of Co2. The proper use of Co2 will negate the high temp problem as you run gas at around 85F in bloom (Do not "gas" during veg....it's a waste of $). The use of Co2 effects yields by mostly density.

The employment of proper lumins, along with a prudent P&K boost at the RIGHT time, Coupled with temps no higher then 75F lights on. Should be the answer. Adding Co2 will go even farther. Minor supplemental use of something like "Sweet Raw" will do a bit and goes father to increase trich's and terps.

Your Canna product will have a small Boost" of some carbs at the right time built in. Over use of anything will not have the effect you desire. That goes for carbs too.

Botanicare's Sweet line is COSTLY at around 65.00 a gallon!
How would you like to make your own for PENNIES a gallon? It's VERY SIMPLE!!!

Take 1 gallon of RO water.
8 TBL of Epsom salts
1 1/2 tsp of DARK brown sugar.

Bring to a heavy or rolling boil, 4 cups of the RO water.
Add the Epsom and dark brown sugar and boil till dissolved (give it a few min. after you think it's dissolved to be sure).
Pour that into the remaining RO water (use an opaque gallon container) and BINGO you now have "sweet raw" that cost you just under a dollar to make yourself!
Late in veg. (a week before the flip) add 5 ml; per gallon of feed.
At the flip increase to 10 ml per.
At 3 weeks, increase to 15 ml per.
At 5 weeks increase to 20 ml per.
At the last week. Stop use.
