I don't know exactly what his breeding practices are (although I know he isn't really sure what he's doing based on the number of backcrosses he does), but if he has the cuts and from all sources - he does. Well, then that's enough for me, I'll put up with weird and crap plants to find the winner in that line.

I'm no ardent defender or anything, I just think because a lot of people buy his gear and he's a total dick and because of the nature of his gear (which is NOT much different from others) you hear more bad reports. Quality control obviously is pretty low as I've seen people complain about lack of germination etc (although it's possible that's sometimes on the seed banks).

seeds dying off sounds like damping off.. look itup.. will help u avoid that issue ..

running a test pack right now where after the plants get to bout a foot they stop and either top themselves or just stop growing lol also no side branches on one side and both come out the other side.

So your telling me I'm going to be playing the cannabis version of find Waldo soon :-?? IDK guyz, 5 femmed "Original" Sour D and I'm nothing but impressed though I'm no expert when it comes to genetics or growing massive plants. Even the clones of these plants grew roots quickly. Did have a problem with one seed, did like a death spiral and refused to dig into the mix I used. Funky smell, imagine the smell of a pine tree's asshole :lol: though one is kinda fruity.

Maybe Swerve's gear is better for the little growerz :).

Swerve's gear is great bruh, don't listen to these guys saying otherwise. MOST of them are just reciting hate that they've heard from other growers, and have not even tried growing any of his stuff. I've had NO problems growing CC gear and the only time I did get hermie was because of my error....But you didnt hear this from me though lol I dont want to get attacked AGAIN by the Swerve Police

Why would I grow beans that many respectable growers on here have stated and documented the problems with it? Even KGP says their is fire in there but you have to deal with the potential hermies.

Some of us don't want to deal with that in our gardens. Many of our gardens can't be afforded a subpar harvest or seeding everything we have in flower as we grow for ourselves and others. I know I don't want any beans unless I put them there. Not a hard concept to grasp and a reason I won't bother with such a brand.

I'm going to do a full run of CC early next year. I finally got enough freebie beans to do it. GSC, Purple diesel, and Grape Kush. A lot of it is hermie prone to begin with so that's going to be taken into account.

I just grow for myself and plan to have more then enough jars filled to last me if I have to chop the entire project down. I don't doubt what folks say about hermie issues at all, I want to see if i can find some goods though cause they are in there too :)

Grape Kush is Grape Romulan X pre 98 bubba that's what I am most interested in TBH. Hope it grows well, seen some issues reported already with these new lines.

I do wish you luck! Keep your eyes sharp.

I just can't justify spending money on them when there are still a bunch of other breeders on my list to try and some classic ones. Plus I'm kinda out of my OG phase, but I gotta admit seeing some of kgp OGs is making me jealous ;)

Like how people knocked Sensi for having bad stock, I must say that's nonsense based on how awesome my MLI plants look. Gotta try something sometimes and see for yourself

I got some Sensi I need to pop too, so much to run lol and so many bean promo's lol :)

Next time CC does the BOGO on Tahoe I'm grabbing it for sure, seems to be his best line. That's about the only way I can justify buying his seeds is if I get twice as many for the price lol :)

I got a pack of sfv og kush fems to run today. I dont care for swerve but i trust a fellow member on icmag(DJXX) opinion more then anybody else around when it comes to Cali connects gear. He gets top grade quality with no issues over and over with a quality no light leak controlled grow room running Cali connect gear. Ive ran the sfv bx2 back in 2008ish and it was really good. One of my local buddys runs there sour diesel with no hermis but no sour in there either. Gifted a pack of chem91 to another friend and he didnt get any hermis either. So what im saying is im not scared to run CC gear BUT i will watch for hermis every step of the way...

Watching any new strain for the first time (or any time) during flower is doing ones due diligence. Just good protocol. I just try to avoid anything that may be problematic to begin with.

About to start a pack of some Chem91 regs. Wondering if anyone has any experience with these?
Looked everywhere for reviews but couldn't find any.

I recall KGP saying that he has had great experiences with CC reg seeds, not so much the fems. I'm not a huge fan of fems but I'll run them if I'm interested in the strain enough.

I did chem 91 Fem. Straight fire 4 zips per plant EASILY in 5 Gallon DWC

Had 2 packs I was happy with out of at least 10 I purchased, so well over a grand wasted. Never came through on the replacements he promised, not that I would have wasted any more tent space on em by that point...
