Best Kept Secret Strains

Is there BLZ BUD sativa leaning??
We do get two distinct pheno's, both similar in veg, but during flowering there will be about 40% indica dominant plants, and 60% sativa.

Taste is quite similar on both pheno's, but the indica dominant can finish in 8 weeks where the sativa dominant likes to go to 9.5 weeks.

We did some grows to stabilize her either way, but found that many customers liked the two pheno seeds better, some prefered the sativa and some the indica, so we are using the original parents with their two pheno's.

Milk has just been discontinued for a while due to low sales, this is actually an incredible seed, where we used an old White Widow clone from 1995-ish and this has the best WW flavor I ever experienced, old skool genetics that has never been crossed with any unknown hybrid so a strong heritage.
We are still working with these genetics but will have to brand them different when released cause it breaks my heart having to throw seeds away cause they did not sell.

Hippie Killer is quite new, we released her last year, the original hybrid was created near Red Bluff, California, by our friends at the farm, it is a Brazillian landrace Indica crossed with our White Widow clone.

Sour Kush is our latest strain, released two months ago, this combines a Sour Diesel 1.5 x Grapefruit kush x Bubba Kush.
I am still waiting for the first customer feedback of this strain.

Anyway, old threads never die.
Peace

Back in 1981 my neighbor in Oregon grew what he called "skunk weed" big fat leaves and stunk to high heaven. I remember him giving me some and I had to keep it outside because it stunk so bad. I recall one night taking two-three tokes and heading home to my parents house (I was 17) and I remember thinking I was in my next door neighbors house because everything was reverse. Looking in the mirror I was growing horns LOL it was the most trippy weed ever..

I still have a Polaroid of the plant, you know the instant picture camera where you could watch the picture developed right before your eyes.. LOL god I am dating myself....

Reading the original post the first thing that comes to mind is Chocolate Thai. I picked this up in the bay area around 3 years ago and it took me by surprise. Really potent blew me away and I wasn't expecting it by the looks smell etc. I would have never guessed it was going to be that good.

Great thread, maybe Ducksfoot? Or Blue Heaven from the old DJ Short lineup. I first saw this strain back in the late 1990's and it really caught my attention. Unfortunately I never got to grow/smoke this because I got BCSC's NL#5 x Haze #1 instead, which turned out fantastic! Still, I am looking for DJ's original gear without any luck to this day. Anyone know a reputable place that sells DJ Shorts gear?

Strains nobody remembers anymore (because original breeders fucked up their own gear)

Shiva- Used to be an absurd potency knock you on your ass type of stone but Sensi(whom i believe created the strain) stopped making it like it used to, perhaps the parent's got old or they screwed up. I still consider this strain. if you can get it from Homegrown fantaseeds (Shiva, Shiva afghani, Super chrystal), Dr. Atomic (Atomic Shiva) then you can enjoy it. grew shiva skunk, its good but not great, Shiva shanti has some stretch issues and can herm for some reason now, used to be really stable. strong "oriental" aka garlic/hashy/spicey taste and cough inducing.
Yeah I grew Shiva from Nirvana back in the early 2000's. To date imo, the best combination of sheer potency, good indoor yields and short flowering times of 60 - 63 days.
