After a seriously rocking Blueberry harvest (seriously, I got about 40 blueberries - family of birds where munching there way through them - even when I moved the bush into the greenhouse, they found a way in and continued with the destruction).
Anyhoo, made some cupcakes, vanilla and blueberry>>>

Those dicky birds are on to a good thing by looks of it bru!

I got a pork shoulder yesterday to make more bangers and it's all eggy/sulphur smelling this morning. I'm taking it back to the butcher today. Gutted.

Need to find myself a good wholesale butchers. Gonna try and make me some side money with jerky over the next couple of years.

Still on my work diet. Banana for breakfast at 9, and another for dinner at 6, day in day out. No money, time, or energy for anything else.

the guy made good on it without complaint so all's good!

1 solitary banana for breaky and dinner. that's no diet that's starvation man:-(
That's good of em. I remember about 4 years ago we had an emergency at work and i had to go buy about £300 of lamb legs from sainsburys. Turned out they were too expensive for the bosses liking so i went straight back 10 minutes after buying them to replace and nope, anything refrigerated cannot be refunded. The only way to do so is to state that you tried some, and it tastes off etc, then by law they must refund you. Supermarkets are dicks. Good ol independant shops :) far more willing to go the extra mile for the customer.

And yeah, it is starvation. constant stomach pains (just try and fool it with lots of water), and barely able to stand back up having bent down to get something out of a fridge. That's the way it goes though. Got to save every penny i can else i'm absolutely screwed come september. Looking at £700 a month for a fucking bedsit. People have to be fucking retarded to volunteer to live in London.

said the man who eats 2 bananas a day:)

I thought chef's had good taste TTT? ;;)
I'm not a very good chef am I :( I hate blue cheese, don't drink coffee, but love mcdonalds and those vending machine cheeseburgers in amsterdam centraal, god damn! :D

And I don't even really like bananas. Love the flavour, can't stand the texture. But at about 8p a go, it's as economical as a breakfast and dinner gets without resorting to sugar loaded cereals:)

I have a rack of ribs for tonight :) Got me some tip money which is always a nice perk (to americans, it's a perk! not something to just expect by default :p) and it's pay day tomorrow. Perfect timing, just about out of jerky :)

TTT if you hate the texture try peeling them and freezing them in tinfoil, makes them like milk pops you used to get as a kid.

Vending machine cheeseburgers and McWrongalds!?! Dear lord, if there was a shaking my head smiley I'd use it lol.

blue cheese FTW! The stinkier the better.

enjoy the ribs though!

This is in honour of TTT, some banana bread I made inbetween giving my son lunch and getting him to bed, alongside work (fukkin this multi tasking's piss easy guys, the girls are just kidding us, lol.) Anyway, this recipe can be made with 2 bananas, or 3 (I use 3). 1 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, baking soda/baking powder/salt 1/2 t/sp of each) 2 eggs, 1t/sp vanilla, 1/2 cup sour milk, and 125g margarine....cream sugar/marg, add eggs 1 by 1, add vanilla, add flour and dried stuff, then add bananas, 1hr at 180c....yum.

DST...I love making banana bread. I tend to use bananas that are a bit more ripe than that in my recipe...borderline too ripe lol. Recently I tried making a 'lowfat' loaf using applesauce in place of butter and sugar and holy shit it was terrible. Needless to say, that idea was scrapped after one slice. Sometimes I also put choco chips and walnuts in mine..MMMM!!

Anyway, tonights dinner was pretty bomb. I cooked the steaks just how I like it, had some carrots and peas on the side with my first homegrown silverqueen corn! Growing corn is really exciting. I only will end up with like 14-16 ears but it was fun to grow and it looks pretty coll to have those stalks in my garden. They were really tasty I wish I would have boiled them in water for another minute or two but I was hungry :eyesmoke:

agreed, 2paranoid borderline ripe is way better (I prefer it when they are black and have fruit flies hovering around them, lol). But I didn't have the patience to wait for them to turn and wanted banana bread like a crack fiend on giro day. I also add a litte bit of Bols Banana liquer in there as well for that added banana rush:) And I love nanners with chocolate inside, wrapped in foil, on the bbq!!! yum yum.
