How Does It Look?

So you are saying that i have to switch to 18/6 for 6 more weeks and then switch on 12/12 by the 1st of june untill its ready... "ur plant is still quite small, & although I don't see it flowering for a full 9 weeks when that time comes, (it will probably be more like 7 weeks)''this sentense scared me a bit...the plant is still 4.8 inches high. do you predict a very low crop? like 20g?

yes, unless the plants growth takes off & u get to 12", then I would switch to 12/12. dont get me wrong for 23 days ur growth is fine, its just u r using cfls & while they will produce bud, they r not going to produce to their full potential as they would under HID lighting. 20g is overly optimistic imo. If u got a 1/2 ounce, u'd be doing good, but what do I know :) I only use cfl's in the form of T5 lighting for my seedlings then I am off with MH, & then HPS.

I dont know, this plant looks way too small compared to other cfl growers
What is your opinion,it is 32 days old and still 6.1 inches high...
Is it normal for its age?

r u checking ur ph because u have several problems going on there. r u feeding nutes? looks like u have salt build up for starters.

Ph is low 5.7-5.8 but the main reason of the yellowish leaves is probably over fertilization.i made the mistake to put the dossage of 2 litres in 300ml water. What do you suggest m8?the problem occures in the first 4 leaves the new ones are fine
you helped me since the start, thanks about that +rep for you

well i knew u overferted at some point :) that was pretty obvious, but I am concerned because u have major salt build up which is showing in the ridged leaves of ur plants, using ur cfls... heat is not obviously an issue. ur fert schedule, maybe even ur soil mixture is not providing enough drainage or u r not watering "through", is causing it, & ur ph is not helping either. I would flush ur pot with at least 2X the pot size of ph'd to 7.0 water or as close as u can get. Get some ph up & get ur soil to at least 6.5. ur plant size is fine, u cant guage urs against other because each strain is different, people maybe using different cfl bulbs, etc. ur internode length is good, & while ur plant is only 6 inches, better then a 12 inch lanky plant. Fix ur soil problems & ur growth will maximize to its fullest potential given ur lights & the strain. And ur quite welcome, helping when I can is great to me, rep is a bonus so thanks!

I flushed today, before i switch off the lights with distilled water.I dont know what are they puting inside that water but the plant gained 1/2 inch height ,the lower branches also grew bigger and the colour on the new set of leaves looks healthier, just on the 6 hours dark period.Ph should be higher now,it was 6.4-6.6 after the flush but i am going to check it again when it will dry.Maybe that would be it.Not completely solved but a lot better. Will the sick leaves recover?

I will up a photo later

lol, it wasnt the water, rather the fact that probably the nutrients that were locked out of the soil, once flushed became available to the plant & she used it :) The correct ph reading is always after watering, when the soil is moist. When u water, wait about 10 minutes then take a reading. The plant overall will be healthy, doesnt matter if a few leaves have some bad spots, just dont pull them off, the plant can still use them. Only if they are looking dead, or rotten/diseased, or are touching the soil, should they be removed, other then that leave em be. Great to hear she is responding to the changes most positively!

Ok seems that flushing is a good solution for correcting mistakes from overfert. How often can i flush?
And one more thing. The fert directions is to dissolve 1/3 of the cup in 1Litre of water but i am only watering 300-400ml so i will add 1/5 of the cup.does this amount contains enough fert for the plant or its like giving nothing?(1/5 of the cup is like a few drops)... i fert every 7-8 days
And by your experience can you predict if it is going to be male/female? i read that males are growing tall with less leaves so is the short grow of my plant a good sign?

better try not to make them :) fllushing should be never used as a means for anything other then a necessity. if ur plants r on the dry end & ready to water, well flushing does less harm then per sey, ur plants not ready for watering because u watered the day before & the soil is still very moist, & then that day ur flushed. This can then cause the plant to be overwatered which comes with its own unique set of problems; so u don't want that.

that should be fine as ferts goes, sometimes a little that seems insignificant goes a long way & remember u can always look to ur plants to tell u if they need more; easier to add more then try to remove overdosing by flushing.

prediction of male vs female might as well be a wives tale as far as generalizations go. I mean u could have a certain strain that tends to lean towards those tendencies for a male but there is just no way to tell. taller or shorter/stockier is much due to the light that is used in early veg, as much as the genes of a sativa vs an indica. my current grow that is about to finish for example is prominant sativa, of which I vegged 4 plants, & the 2 taller plants by a good 6-8 inches over the other 2 ended up being my females.

This is the worst part of growing but one plant, u give all the loving care for what is maybe 6 weeks to sometimes find out, all u get for it is balls, lol.

Yes this would be the worst scenario because i dont have any other plants,i put all of my hopes in just a single plant. the seed comes from a bad quality hermie plant(in my area nobody seems to care about what quality will they produce, they just care about selling it and take the money) so i think the chances of gettimg a hermie are higher.Even though it would be better to get a seeded bud than a male
I dont know but it is so beautiful to be a male

Unfortunately time is now an issue. i have to move in another place by the 2nd of july which means i have to flower them by the 1st of may. i Have 225w 2700k bulbs(5*45) but i am thinking to use also the 85w 6400k for more light.Should i use the 6400 or not?i also have a 45w 6500k... the plant is 8.3 inches now, alternative nodes are growing in two branches and i think that there is a sign of preflower on the top branch but not sure about that(seems like a tiny ball but the camera cant catch it)
