From everything I have read they should work for flowering (2700K) but I have read people say they used warm/soft for VEG too and although slower it will work. I think it would be less expensive to just get some regular 26W spiral CFLs Hope that helps.
First Happy Thanksgiving.
2ND I was bored and I had everything to do it so I made black out bud butter

While squeezing the cheese cloth I licked my fingers and I am starting to feel it :) I could not get all of the deliciousness out...
Thanks but that FDD tutorial really does not answer my question about spike looking trichomes. I know when I want to harvest, I just never came across trichomes that did not have the little ball on top. I am in Florida so I don't worry about temps as much as everyone else. When it gets to cold I...
OK so I have been searching and I only found one answer but I don't trust the source so I am looking for a definitive answer. I still have 1 outdoor plant that when looking through microscope it has mostly cloudy trichs with maybe 20 percent amber, but there are trichs with no head that just...
I know people talk about food dehydrators. You could look into that. I happened to see a ronco brand one today at a big lots for 20 bucks. Hope this helps.
The whole point of this was for noobs to have an estimate of when their weed was dry enough to cure. I figured if there is a magic number it would be easier to weigh the bud a few times until 75% and when they start to become more experienced they can know just by looking/feeling.
I was thinking about this earlier, I believe that it is around 75-80% loss.
Is that number correct? My thinking is for newer growers to weigh wet and then weigh after a few days so when it reaches that magic number they can start to cure. Now the problem with this is that I don't know if there...
well when I said half, it was more like 1/4th of the plant. I just dont feel like waiting for the normal cure. I also have another plant that isn't ready to be harvested yet. This was my first grow EVER with bagseed and outdoor central Florida conditions. I just wanted to see what would happen...
I know it sounds dumb, but I just finished chopping down my first grow. It was kind of sad like losing something. I am going to half water cure and half air dry. From what someone told me on this site she was a Lowryder#2. Anyways, anybody else ever feel melancholy over a plant?
Yeah I did the same thing with one of my plants. My "friend" told me that if I remove the fan leaves the buds would get more nutrients. It sounded good in my head, and when I was done it looked like Charlie Browns Christmas tree. I then checked this site and saw that I fecked up. Do not listen...
