I do the paper towel method but I've been putting rooting gel on my seeds, laying them in the towel and spraying with water. I have sprouted seeds over 3 years old using this method.

You should go for the lowest NPK ratio. A 6-6-6 ratio is more what you want, I would add nutes/fertilizer about a week after they developed their first set of "True Leaves" and get more lights. You can use 1 20-watt CFL but i would recommend at the least 2. Your plants need as much light as...
