had a stem that was showing what looked like a deficiency while the rest of the plant looked relatively ok. bud development on this stem seems ok (no rot, nothing that looked 'off', but the most fan leaves on this...

sounds like storing as just flower is best, then using as preferred.
i just thought processing it in a particular fashion might extend shelf life (ie. i'd expect tinctures to last a longer than flower, though i'm no expert).

Thanks, can you elaborate on this? Not looking for anything edible/tincture etc. I always thought distillate was similar to a tincture which is essentially edibles, no?
