nothing vegs better than a mh or cfl's. don't get me wrong, hps works perfectly fine, but the mh with it's blue spectrum is exactly what a vegging plant needs for compact growth. since, you have both bulbs, why not use both? mh for vegging and the son agro for flowering.

ive heard it's something about the amount of UV that the places receive translates into more potent bud. i presume that's why more people are starting to use led uvb lights to give the plant some UV instead of just the standard cfl/mh/hps light.
