Once in a gold mine at the top of Big Bear mountain (2 or so hours from L.A. if you havent heard of it) It was insane, me and some buddies found this hole in the rocks, that you could barely see, crawled in (literally, it was only two feet high, and 3 feet wide) through mud, and it opened up...

Quick photo update. They're doing well, 4 of the 5 have their first textured leaves in and growing. The little runt of the bunch finally sprouted today, and is working on opening its leaves. (needed a bit of help getting the shell off, but seemed to really enjoy it once she was out in the open)...

what about a sattelitte or cable box. anything that gives off warmth really.

keep it moist man, they need moisture, darkness, and warmth. mine cracked in about two days. at first i underestimated that they needed warmth, but then i realized the error of my ways when i sat them in wet paper towels, covered by a bowl on my computer monitor, and they really took off then...

haha yeah when i said CA i meant california hahah well 50 is probably too cold, you should aim for 65 at the coldest, preferably only during the dark hours, and the mid 70's during the light hours. what you could do is start the seeds indoors and then transplant them outside when it gets warmer...

i guess it depends where in CA you live, but where I am it would be WAY to cold to grow outdoors. If you plan on doing a small size grow you could easily cover the scent with a DIY carbon filter (costs all of ten bucks, there's a guide on the site if you want to check it out) and a can of air...

Damn dude that was quick. haha. I'm growin indoors, but whatever suits you best man. It may be a little early in the year to start growin outdoors though haha

So right now I'm working on light proofing the closet. Took kind of a ghetto approach to it, and just took some tape and and taped cardboard over all the cracks, from the inside. So far so good. Feel free to leave any comments or suggestions :peace:

Well we have 4 of 5 sprouted, and the last WW is weel on her way :mrgreen: Lights came on about 45 minutes ago, revealing three new sprouts since last night. Mazar I sharif s strectching like a mo fo, so I put the plants closer to the light, and added some 13W CFLs (I know, pretty muh useless...

Cover the roots with a garbage bag until you get more soil, or osmething to that affect.
