i've found my clones from clones from clones also grow better than the original mom... i feel this is because you learn the characteristics of each strain and can accomodate it's health much better as you get used to it's particular needs...
if it were me, i would bury that 1st one in a new pot as deeply as possible, the rest of the pics look ok... repotting them would help as well... the leaves dying isn't terrible, those look like the old growth and that'll die off naturally... looks like your soil is without perlite, dolomite...
i just picked up on this thread today... lifesgood gets my vote for deuchebag of the year... wow... talk about being a moron... hope the dude chills as i get further into reading this whole thing...
i've been around this forum for a long time... member of several others as well... my favorites list only includes this one though, seriously all i need has been found here... when i do happen upon others' sites i inevitably run across things that were alraedy posted to RIU...
my room is 8 x 11 ft. my lights are 1000w HPS in a 7 x 7 portion of this and 600w HPS in the 4 x 4 corner...
previously have grown 8 mighty fine plants under 400w HPS in a 5 x 5 area that resulted in 3 - 4 oz. per plant and wondered why "the experts" recommend only doing 4 plants with that...
patience lefty... keep giving them time... i've had clones from the same plant/same cutting time that rooted a week apart... i've even torn the rockwool cubes apart to see what was going on in there and found that the root tap was barely growing, if given more time it would have grown through...
if you're choosing to go this way, then add the lesser light time after your 8th week... the question you're asking seems to be about personal preference... YOU will not be convinced to NOT do this... OTHERS will not be convinced this will WORK... run your plants how you please, post results...
we finished a PCC earlier this year... went very well... here's a link to tons of pics and updates on party cup growing - https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/285725-pcc-offical-update-thread.html
forgot i posted this thread... still going straight to soil... tried a batch with cubes and success rate is same for both, about 90-95%...
there always seems to be (and will be) one or two cuttings that just don't like livin...
if you are successful at getting them to root you will see the roots coming out the sides and/or bottom of the cubes in 5-15 days or so... i usually plant 'em into soil as soon that happens...
i've been wondering the same about "kush", have started growing some purple kush from clones now though to shut my friends up... they can have it... i'll keep the dumpster, lsd, and cheese for myself... what songs do they mention "kush" in? i listen to rock & roll so i'm not hip with the kids'...
also not true... according to the latest in identification and classification of plant DNA strawberries are closest to mj...
here's an article about the project: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/genome
and a link to an RIU thread about the very subject...
