    Unofficial Dry-Vac Carbon Filter

For pulling air through, I'd either point the cone inwards towards the master flow collar itself or make a cylindrical filter with two 4" reducers(Capping one end off). Reverse Cone will require filling it with more carbon, but it will get the job done. Double reducer cylinder would be about an...

    DIY Fabric Pots: Jumpman Pipe

Thanks bro, Thought it was a fair warning. I swear by the Aurora Root Pots and the Smart Pots myself. Haven't gotten any Airpots, but I know I will sooner of later. All are pretty amazing. I want to get some of these though. They look hot.

    Unofficial Dry-Vac Carbon Filter

Nice. Hope it lasts a long time. The pre-filter might be the trick to that though. That's great that yours has lasted so long. It took me forever to get around to the pre-filter thing, but when I did, I realized how important a role those $4 bucks could play. But thanks Krazy, I have a...

    Im getting growing withdrawl

I grow catnip for my cats. Just built the craziest catshelf staircase around my room and a special shelf they can't get to. My special shelf is 40" long and has a 40" long dutch leach tray on it. Going to get a non-recovery drip going on. Instead of using a slab, I'm using 6 - 6" fabric pots to...

    Unofficial Dry-Vac Carbon Filter

Might have to combine two or three of them for a room that big. I think the recommended filter size for a room that size is around 18"-24" long. However, that might just be clever marketing. If anything the carbon might just have to be replaced sooner. And adding a pre-filter would increase the...

    Led Users Unite!

Dude, I've read that LED's are optimum at 18" above the canopy. Not sure if you can use them in that tight of a space.

Word. Never break rule number one. Never. Not even if you are anonymous. But on a similar note my local shop is perfect too. Owner runs it with his wife, how lucky right?

    DIY Fabric Pots: Jumpman Pipe

Thanks tym. I wish you luck. And recommend using a sewing machine. Thats a great idea for recycling old jeans. Isn't ugly at all, Denim pots would be sick, but they aren't as vibrant as a green pot. Edit: Can't think of a reason you wouldn't. recycling should be done whenever possible. but you...

Can a carbon filter keep drug dogs from smelling it?

Yeah, danger will, danger. I wouldn't try anything near dogs, nothing can stop them. Even if you stuffed your grow operation into a jar of peanut butter and put that jar in a can of coffee grounds, the dogs could probably still smell it.

    Budget Nutrients

Ew, but very true. I don't know if you already read this article, but apparently hair is a source of nitrogen and scientists are working at using it save the world from it's current fertilizer crisis. http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2008/12/hairmats/
