Bonide Tomato and Blossom Set Spray

Hello again rollitup! I once was a long term lurker, and I obtained a username a while ago. I've commented few times, but would really like to put my input in on this cytokinin subject. I too purchased some "tomato blossom and set spray" containing cytokinin among other inert ingredients...

Question about best way to water outdoors

I've been thinking of putting them in the ground, and think I will do it next week. I've been thinking about polymers to add to the soil, has anyone had good luck with them?

Question about best way to water outdoors

I have some plants outside, and have a question about the best way to water them. You can first of all consider this a guerilla grow. We get occasional rain but not ample enough for what I want to do. I know I could purchase some polymer to mix into the soil, but I was looking into making like a...

    Mycorrhizal

Unless you have a completely sterilizied soil mix, i don't think it would be beneficial to add mycorrhizal fungus. It's almost like growing shrooms though, the more spores and things you put in, the more likely you are to have it. If you are interested there are two types, ectomycorrhizae...

    Molasses Foliar Feed

There is someting called sugary mildew that perennials get. What happens is gnats or whatever that live on the plant, eat it. Then their shit is real sugary. That shit falls onto leaves of lower branches and it causes this dark grey looking stuff on the plant. Really nasty and hard to get...

    Outdoor Growing Anyone Have Tricks?

You say you want something new, I got it. Build a greenhouse. You say you've grown everywhere? oh my! Well aside from marijuana, I am quite the skilled grower of any nursery flower and vegetable. But greenhouses man are they neat. If you have the space this is what you do. Allowing you to...

    cruising for weed

It is in my experience with drug dogs that they are entirely ineffective. Although they can pick out smells that are different than others it is easy to seal a container tight just like everyone else is doing. I was pulled over once, high and in a different part of town, I turned down a street...

    Quick bug question

Soap and water is best and least invasive. Organic farmers use it to spray on organic tomato plants and edible vegetables as it is the best bet to rid oneself of pests the organic way.

    Socko two days from topping.

What you're seeing in those pictures are called adventitious buds. Not actual bud but growth from an area that was wounded and healed. This type of growth, adventitous bud creation, only happens to wounded areas. Socko might be or might not be stressed but her growth has been stunted because...

    Broken Stems

You know those pencils you get from miniature golf? well I stuck that in the soil next to my baby, and used hemp to tie her to it, so far she still moves towards the light so she will be all right  she is a tiny bit taller than the pencil and I say she with the utmost hope.

    Broken Stems

In the vegetative stage if a plant has a broken stem, not all the way through, about half way, and you tie it up does it still live? I've seen this in hibiscus, and I've tied it and it's grown but I'm not so sure how similar these two plants are.

    Light Cycle

Growing plants indoors in the fashion you'er talking about can almost be compared to a greenhouse. The area is heated as it is inside, but the window pane allows for the transfusion of uv rays. Anywho, when I worked in greenhouses what we would do for the baby plants is after they got like to...

    First

One week old, and several inches tall. Showing leaves that actually look like the sterotypical pot leaf. Will update with pictures soon.

    First

And these babies are my sprouts. The first and most clear is my star. It sprouted first and so far has been most responsive to the lights and waterings. Hopefully it is a female. The other two were a day behind it and the last pot I didn't even take a picture of because it hasn't sprouted...

    First

Then this is my grow room. I coated the walls with tin foil. The spacey blue light is from an aquarium, I hung it with hemp. It is extremely ghetto the set-up I have so far, I do have 2 regular fluorescent lights and the aquarium light on. But when they get taller I have another light over top.
